It is 2012... and we are beginning fast. For the next three weeks, we will be working on doing research. Students will be researching a topic of choice between (The Boston Massacre, The Boston Tea Party, Slavery, The Revolutionary War, or The Stamp Act).
Most of the research will be done in class, however I would like for you to feel free to work on this at home with your student. They must have at least three sources, a Book, their Social Studies Textbook, and the Internet.
It is also time to schedule once more our Student Lead Conferences. I would like to do these conferences on January 11th, the day report cards go home. As before, the time will be from 3:10 until 4:30. If the time does not work for you please let me know. The objective is to see if your child has made any progress on their goals and to see where our next steps should be.
